Fisheries
The Fisheries Study Program is an applied science discipline that specifically studies and manages aquatic resources (seas, rivers, and lakes) and aquatic organisms for food, economic, and environmental purposes. Its main focus is divided into several concentrations such as Aquaculture, Fishing Technology, Fisheries Resource Management, and Fishery Product Technology (Post-Harvest Processing). This study equips students with the technical and managerial abilities to increase production, ensure resource sustainability, and innovate in the processing of fishery products, thus preparing graduates for careers in industry, government (Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries), or as entrepreneurs in the maritime sector.
