Planning and Geodesy
BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAM
Planning and Geodesy
The Planning and Geodesy Study Programs are two complementary engineering fields in spatial planning and development efforts. Geodesy Engineering focuses on the highly accurate measurement, analysis, and visualization of geospatial data (location) using survey and GIS technology to map the Earth's conditions, while Urban Planning uses this spatial data—along with social, economic, and environmental analysis—to design, formulate, and implement sustainable spatial policies and plans, ranging from regional to urban scales.
To cultivate city planners and geodesists to contribute to sustainable urban development.
- To educate students on urban planning.
- To conduct research in the fields of geodesy and cartography.
- To promote sustainable design in urban plans.
